One of the top communication members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Stephen Atubiga has stated that the 2020 general elections was won by their presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama but the electoral commission swapped the results in favor of the NPP Presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
Speaking to the media, Atugiba stated that he had his own structures for collating results of the 2020 elections and he gave an alert to the leaders ahead of the elections and it never swerved. It all came to pass as he said. According to him, he even told candidate Mahama that there are certain people around him who are destroying the party towards their lost of the 2020 elections.

He further revealed that ten days to the elections per his own analysis, the system put in place to collate the election results was so weak and bad. Immediately after elections, some leaders came to acknowledge me on what I earlier said on the structures to collate the results.

Our results right after election was that John Mahama won the election but our representatives in the strong room misrepresented us the NDC. And due to their misrepresentation, John Mahama’s results of 6million+ was swapped for Nana Addo by the electoral commission. He went on to say that he stands by his points raised in his submission and even if disciplinary committee invites him for interrogations on the matter or even expels him from the party, he further his name will be remembered for setting records straight on certain issues as such.
