Kasoa Ofaakor district court presided over by her Lordship justice Vera Rosemond Allotey has remanded the two teenagers who killed the 10year old boy at Kasoa Lamptey into police custody.
Ernest Agbor, Chief Inspector and prosecutor narrated to the court on the incidence took place.
According to reports, the suspects revealed to police after their arrest that a fetish priest in the Volta region had asked them to bring a body part for money.
One of the suspect’s father Kwame Nyarko father told the media that his son did not know that his friend was going to kill the 10 year old boy known as Ishmael.
He added that his son admitted to calling the deceased for his friend who later hit the young boy with a stick.
Hajia Maame Sahadatu, mother of the deceased boy who could not hold back her tears also revealed that the death of her son came in as a shocking news.
Hajia stated that her son was playing video games in the house together with her at home and she took a nap some hours later only for her daughter to come and break the news to her.
She went on to say that, the suspects are not strangers to their home as they even walk in from time to time to eat from the house and she is surprised that the two could be harmful.
