The fetish priestess in the center of the terrific killing of a ten-year-old boy for a money ritual has been arrested in Eastern Region.
She was arrested Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Amanase near Suhum.
She has been taken to the Police CID Headquarters-Accra.
Reports shows that one of the accused persons gave the number of the fetish priestess to police investigators as the one who directed them to bring human parts and blood for money rituals.
Meanwhile, the Ofaakor District Magistrate Court on Tuesday remanded into police custody the two teenagers who allegedly killed a 10-year-old boy last Saturday at Coca-Cola, near Lamptey Mills in Kasoa.
The accused persons are to reappear on April 20, 2021.
The court was presided over by Her Lordship, Mrs. Rosemond Vera Ocloo.
Felix Nyarko, 15, and Nicholas Kini, 17, are alleged to have conspired to kill the Class Four pupil of the Maranatha School, Ishmael Mensah.
The two teenagers were arrested by Police in Kasoa for murdering the 11-year-old boy for ritual money to get rich quickly.
The suspects had earlier revealed to police after their arrest that a fetish priest in the volta region directed them to bring body parts for money ritual.
“The 11-year-old boy was studying and the two suspects lured him to come out and play with them. He obliged not knowing they had another plan. An evil plan. They killed him, cut off his ear for money rituals. This is not a movie. This happened in Kasoa this Easter Saturday. A father of one of the boys saw them wrap the dead body in a cloth and quickly called the police on them” a resident narrated.
The incident has shocked residents of the area calling for detailed investigation and swift justice.
