On the 30th Day of November 2020, the Leadership of West Africa (ECOWAS) Youth Council Honoured Mr. Joseph Luminary Adzrago (Lumidmr), CEO Development Means Reform Records ( DMR Records), as an Ecowas Youth Council Ambassador with Thomas Sankara Leadership Award of Excellence.
“The Youth Council created this Leadership award to Honour youths who have distinguished themselves in their various capacities and professions in West Africa,” says Amb. Ologun Seun William. He also claimed that the Council considers it fitting to bestow this distinction as EYC Ambassador with the Thomas Sankara Leadership Award of Excellence in recognition of his tireless efforts and resounding success in improving the music industry, humanitarian service, and youth empowerment in West Africa, especially in Ghana.

He went on to say that a few West African youths, such as Ubi Franklin, Alex Sowemimo, Linda Ikeji, and Seyi Tinubu, had been inspired by this honor.

In his acceptance speech, Joseph Luminary Adzrago thanked God Almighty and the Leadership of West Africa (ECOWAS) Youth Council for seeing him as deserving of this prestigious award.
He works under the pseudonym Luminary DMR from Accra, Ghana, he is an independent songwriter, singer, and entrepreneur.
Lumi-DMR took a long break from active music to pursue music academia.
He’s a driven young man who has patiently developed his career and strategically positioned his brand to appeal to both the mass market and the corporate world.
Lumi-DMR is the first artist to work with a media company (Joy Prime) to distribute relief packages (food items) to those in need and less privilege during the COVID 19. He’s the Founder of LUMI-DMR FOUNDATION.
