Bet staking has been condemned on all grounds by religious teachers and leaders yet still it is a survival ground for many young guys. But things turned out very bad for Sadick inside Ashiaman as he stakes bet with Gh¢7000 from the company’s money and lost.

23-year-old Saddick Amoah has been arrested and arraigned before court for using GHc7,000 sales to stake bet.

According to reports, Saddick had intentions of returning the company’s sales but unfortunately for him, the bet didn’t go in his favour and lost the entire GHc7,000.
Adam Thelma Bortey, the depot manager indicated that she took the matter to the police station after she detected some shortage in the sales.

She added that Saddick could not account for the money while auditing their accounts and refused to answer his calls whenever she demanded for an explanation about the missing cash.

The police therefore invited Saddick Amoah to the police station for an investigation into the missing money.

Poor Saddick upon interrogations at the police station confessed to using the company’s sales to stake an online bet.

Explaning further, Saddick said he used the money for betting with the hope of winning, but luck was not on his side.
