Professor Opoku Onyinah is the former National Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, and has been appointed by H.E Nana Akufo Addo to act as the Chairman of board of trustees for the National Cathedral project.
His appointment was done in a meeting on Monday with the board of trustees along side with the president on 8th of February 2021.
Prof. Onyina’s takeover is from the founding trustee chairman in the person of Most Rev. Samuel Asante Antwi, who died in September last year. H.E points out on Apostle Onyinah as a worthy person due the replacement of Rev. Samuel.
Apostle in his acceptance speech, lauded the efforts of the trustees as he also throws bigger thanks to the president for such a privilege. He went on to elaborate on his commitment in executing his job or mandate as the Chairman of board of trustees.
