Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Mohammed Muntaka has been given a hero’s welcome by his constituents when he arrived at the Kumasi International Airport yesterday, January 17.
The mammoth crowd that welcomed Hon. Muntaka who is an NDC lawmaker and Chief Whip of the NDC minority group could not hide their joy after seeing their Member of Parliament.

In videos Ghnewspress.com came across on social media, many sympathizers chanted the name of their MP, waved repeated at him till he was led to a waiting car.
Hon. Muntaka however, reciprocated the love shown him at the airport by using the top opening of his vehicle to wave and cheer back at the jubilant crowd.
Hon. Muntaka is one of the few NDC lawmakers in the Ashanti Region, a region known to be the stronghold of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
