Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye has lost the Ledzokuku seat to NDC’s Benjamin Ayiku Narteh.
He lost in the just-ended December polls after serving one term as Member of Parliament. He has since returned to his position at the LEKMA Hospital on Monday, December 14. Dr Okoe Boye went to attend to patients who visited the facility.
This is the outgoing legislator’s first post-elections public appearance. The MP who is also the Deputy Minister for Health, was seen on consultation duties at the hospital.

In a Facebook post sighted by ghnewspress.com, the law maker stated that while some staff were happy to see him doing well, others were surprised at his activity.

However, he explained that “It is important to understand that the joy a true Leader experiences does not lie in the position he holds but in the Service his people receive.”
