The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of peddling falsehood in their election rigging claims.
According to the EC, investigations have revealed that the accusations of election rigging are baseless.
Also, EC officials debunked issues of vote padding or any form of rigging in favour of the incumbent.

It was further stated that no official report had been received by the EC concerning the allegations.
This is to say that the NDC has not formally brought the issues to the attention of the EC.
However, the NDC had organized press briefings to point accusing fingers at the EC.
The NDC cited anomalies, including vote padding, over-voting, and errors in the tabulation to favour the NPP.
